On the first visit the dentist examines the tooth, takes a panoramic X-ray, and prepares the tooth shape under local anaesthetic. A digital scan or impression is then taken and sent to the lab. You receive a temporary crown for the day.
If the partner clinic has an in-house lab, the crown is fabricated within 2-3 days. Otherwise it is sent to an external lab and the visit is planned around the turnaround time.
The final crown is tried in, adjusted, and cemented in place. The dentist polishes the bite and checks contact points. Your local dentist receives the records for any future follow-up.
